Application overview
The REPAT application is published by the company REPAT FOUNDERS, a Simplified Joint Stock Company (SAS) with share capital of 1,000 euros, registered in the Paris Trade and Companies Register (RCS) under number 934 051 723, whose registered office is located at 66 Avenue des Champs Elysées, 75008 Paris, France, represented by its president Mr. Diabi Karamoko, publishes and operates the "Repat" application.
The application is hosted in France by Linode Akamai. It allows users to create a profile, add other members, access news, view the community event list, ask questions, and eventually benefit from profile recommendations via artificial intelligence.
Access and registration conditions
Ouverture de compte et inscription
In order to obtain access to the Repat Founders application, the client (the "Client") must first complete the online form available on the website https://www.repat.africa/fr/ and pass a preliminary interview with the Repat Founders team who will evaluate their motivations. Final access to services is subject to passing this interview and validation of registration by Repat Founders.
Authentication
For each connection, an OTP (One Time Password) code is sent to the Client and remains valid for 30 days. This system aims to guarantee the security of access to the user account. The Client undertakes to preserve the confidentiality of this code and not to disclose it to third parties.
User profile
The Client undertakes to provide accurate information when creating the profile and to keep it up to date.
Capacity
The Client must be a natural person of legal age and legally capable. Access to the application is not open to minors.
Pricing and payment terms

- Standard membership: 150 euros including tax per quarter
- Student membership: 44.70 euros including tax per quarter (upon presentation of a valid supporting document)

Payment Terms
Payment is exclusively made via the GoCardless platform, a secure payment provider, during registration and then at each quarterly due date.
Renewal
Membership is automatically renewed at each due date, unless termination is notified in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
Description of services offered
The Repat Founders application allows Clients to:
- to create and manage a personal profile
- to add each other as members
- to access community news
- to view the list of upcoming community events
- to ask questions to the community
- ultimately, to benefit from personalized profile recommendations via artificial intelligence
Client Responsibility
The Client undertakes to make loyal use of the application and not to harm the image of Repat Founders or other members.
The Client undertakes to respect netiquette and not to disseminate inappropriate, racist, pornographic or otherwise illicit messages.
Illegal content and moderation
It is strictly forbidden to publish, share or transmit through the Application any illegal content, including:
- Hateful, defamatory, violent content, or content inciting hatred, harassment, discrimination, violence, child pornography, or any other act prohibited by law
- Manifestly illegal content within the meaning of the French law on confidence in the digital economy (LCEN), article 6
Any user can report illegal content, Repat Founders undertakes to act promptly to remove any manifestly illegal content of which it becomes aware, in accordance with the LCEN.
Limitation of liability
Repat Founders endeavors to keep the application accessible 24/7, but reserves the right to interrupt access for maintenance, updates or technical malfunction, without its liability being engaged in this regard.
Repat Founders cannot be held liable for:
- Direct or indirect damages resulting from the use of the application
- Content published by members, who are solely responsible for their publications
- Inappropriate use of access codes, the security of identifiers being the sole responsibility of the Client
In case of notification of illegal content under the conditions provided by law, Repat Founders undertakes to act promptly to remove it or make access impossible.
Repat Founders cannot be held liable in case of non-compliant use of the application by the Client, or in case of service unavailability due to force majeure or maintenance operations.
Right of withdrawal
The Client, by subscribing to the membership and immediately accessing the digital features and content of the application, expressly acknowledges that the service begins as soon as their registration is validated.
In accordance with article L. 221-28 of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to the provision of an online service fully executed before the end of the withdrawal period and whose execution began after the express prior agreement of the consumer and express waiver of their right of withdrawal.
Suspension and revocation of access
Suspension for abusive behavior by Repat Founders
In case of non-compliance with these T&Cs and in particular quarterly payment, inappropriate behavior or behavior contrary to ethics or law, Repat Founders reserves the right to suspend or revoke a Client's access, without notice or compensation, after reporting or finding of the facts.
Depending on the severity of the facts, revocation may occur immediately, particularly in case of publication of illegal content or behavior detrimental to the security or reputation of the community or Repat Founders.
Definitive revocation by Repat Founders
In case of serious or repeated breach of these T&Cs, particularly in case of distribution of prohibited content, sharing of their OTP identification code mentioned in article 2.2, identity theft, attempted fraud, or behavior detrimental to the proper functioning or reputation of the application, SAS Repat Founders may proceed with the definitive revocation of the user's access, without refund of amounts paid.
Termination by the Client
The Client may terminate their membership at any time by sending a termination request by email to the following address: support@repat.africa. The termination will take effect at the end of the current quarterly period.
To be taken into account for the next due date, the termination notification must be received no later than two (2) weeks before the quarterly subscription renewal date, which corresponds to the anniversary date of the initial subscription (i.e., the date of the first payment made with GoCardless). Otherwise, the termination will only take effect at the following quarterly due date.
Duration – Termination
The membership is concluded for a period of 3 months, renewable by tacit renewal except for termination by the Client or by Repat Founders.
Information obligations and durable medium
In accordance with article L. 111-1 of the Consumer Code, Repat Founders provides the Client with clear and precise information on the essential characteristics of the digital services offered, their price, the duration of the subscription, payment terms, the registration and authentication procedure, as well as the right of withdrawal.
Personal data protection
Repat Founders collects and processes the personal data of its Clients in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), particularly according to the principles of Privacy by Design and Privacy by Default.
Appropriate technical and organizational measures are implemented to ensure the security, confidentiality and integrity of personal data.
Clients have the right to access, rectify, object, erase and port their data. Any request may be addressed to: support@repatfounders.com.
Intellectual property
All elements of the application (texts, images, logos, interfaces, database, etc.) are protected by intellectual property legislation and remain the exclusive property of Repat Founders.
Modification of T&Cs
Repat Founders reserves the right to modify these T&Cs at any time. Any modification will be notified to the Client by any appropriate means. The applicable T&Cs are those in force at the date of subscription or renewal of membership.
Acceptance of general terms and conditions
The user declares having read these T&Cs and having expressly accepted them before payment of the membership. Acceptance of the T&Cs is materialized by a checkbox when submitting the application form and Go Cardless payment in accordance with article 1119 of the Civil Code.
Mediation and dispute resolution
In case of dispute over the application or interpretation of these T&Cs, the Client may resort free of charge to the service of a consumer mediator in accordance with articles L. 612-1 et seq. of the Consumer Code.
In the absence of an amicable resolution or mediation, any dispute will be brought before the competent courts of the jurisdiction of the registered office of SAS Repat Founders, in accordance with French law.
