REPAT attaches great importance to the protection of personal data and the privacy of its users. To this end, REPAT acts as a data controller and undertakes to process such personal data in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

This privacy policy (the "Privacy Policy") explains how REPAT collects and processes data about you in connection with your use of our application.

Introduction

This privacy policy details the conditions under which SAS Repat Founders, a Simplified Joint Stock Company (SAS) with share capital of 1,000 euros, registered in the Paris Trade and Companies Register (RCS) under number 934 051 723, whose registered office is located at 66 Avenue des Champs Elysées, 75008 Paris, France, represented by its president Mr. Diabi Karamoko, collects, processes, stores and protects the personal data of users of its application available on Google Play Store and Apple Store.

The application allows its members to create a profile, interact with the community, access news, view upcoming events, ask questions and, in the future, benefit from personalized recommendations.

Data collected

The personal data collected and processed by the application are as follows:

  • Last name
  • First name
  • Email address
  • Date of birth (used for statistical purposes only, not displayed publicly)
  • Country of origin
  • Country of residence
  • Phone number
  • Profile description

Only data strictly necessary for creating and managing the profile, connecting members with each other, accessing community features and improving the service are collected, in accordance with the principle of minimization and proportionality.

Processing Purposes

Data processing is carried out for the following purposes:

  • Processing community membership applications
  • Managing and displaying user profiles
  • Connecting members and mutual addition
  • Access to community news, events and questions
  • Future provision of personalized recommendations via artificial intelligence
  • Conducting anonymized internal statistics (e.g. birth date not displayed)
  • Security and technical support management

In accordance with the GDPR, each purpose is determined, explicit and legitimate.

Legal basis for processing

The processing carried out is based on:

  • The performance of the membership contract or registration to the application;
  • The legitimate interest of the company to develop and animate the community;
  • Compliance with legal obligations where applicable.

Data recipients

The data is accessible to:

  • To authorized members of SAS Repat Founders (management and support);
  • To other members for data expressly made visible on the profile (excluding date of birth);

Data Hosting and Transfers

Data is hosted on Linode Akamai servers in France. In case of transfer outside the EU, the publisher commits to implementing appropriate safeguards in accordance with Article 46 et seq. of the GDPR.

Retention Period

The personal data collected and listed is retained by REPAT FOUNDERS for periods not exceeding the accomplishment of the purposes described in section 4, except for contrary legal obligations or upon express request for deletion. At the end of this period, the data is deleted or anonymized in an irreversible manner.

User Rights

Each user has, under the conditions provided for by the regulations, the following rights:

  • Right to access their data

  • Strict data access control
  • Regular security testing and evaluation procedures
  • Notification to authorities and data subjects in case of proven personal data breach

All information relating to data processing is accessible, understandable and formulated in clear and simple terms. Users are informed of any substantial changes to this privacy policy.
